Chief Minister Sindh said at a press conference with Health Officers and Ministers after the meeting that a case of Corona had appeared in Karachi at 8 pm last night.

He urged the media not to reveal the name of any affected person, whom we are concerned about has been shifted to the isolation ward.current world news

The Chief Minister said that we have received the details of 1500 persons, we will monitor these persons for 15 days, we have closed schools for 2 days.

Murad Ali Shah said that a control room has been set up in the Commissioner's Office.

Earlier in Karachi an important meeting chaired by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah was attended by Chief Secretary, Health, Minister for Municipal Affairs, Murtaza Wahab, DG Rangers and others.current world news

During the meeting, the Chief Minister Sindh was briefed and informed that Isolation wards have been set up at Ojha Campus, Civil Hospital, Lyari Hospital, Mirpurkhas Civil Hospital, Gums Sukkur, Pums Nawabshah, Lums Hyderabad, CMCH Larkana. It was reported that on the instruction of the Chief Minister, an emergency cell has been set up in the health department.

Corona virus: All schools will remain closed for 2 days in Sindh

The Secretary Health told the Chief Minister that a group of 28 people with the Corona virus patient had been identified and contact with them had been made.

The Chief Minister also called for the screening of 28 persons traveling with corona virus patients at the meeting.current world news

The Chief Minister said that all the details of these persons should be made part of the record. If they cannot be kept in the hospital, they should be kept in quarantine homes.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister also directed the concerned doctors to issue a video message.

The Sindh Chief Minister directed the health department and said that the items needed for hospitals should be purchased immediately.

The meeting reported that corona virus patients were confirmed on February 2 in Iran.
